Plan Check x Sanrio

Sanrio characters Pompompurin and Chococat have joined Plan Check's Kitchen menu and the food looks too good too eat. It went on during June 10th - July 10th in 2016, they did have a Gudetama menu as well in 2015. So this isn't their first time adding a Sanrio character to their menu, I will put the Gudetama menu in a later post. Pompompurin and Chococat are both celebrating their 20th anniversary together with this cute menu. A portion of the meals proceeds will be donated to L.A. Love and Leashes, in honor of pet appreciation week. L.A. Love and Leashes are a animal shelter dedicated to stray animals in need of a home. I'll explain the food down below.

Meet Chococat and Pompompurin



The adorable menu's




Pompompurin Grilled Sausage sandwich. House blend sausage is topped with crunchy kimchi slaw and Japanese kewpie cilantro mayonnaise. Portuguese milk bread with panko bread crumbs baked in. Of course you can also tell the bud is so special because Pompompurin's face was baked into it. The sandwich came with potato chips seasoned with togarashi a Japanese red pepper. 


To wash it down they also have a vanilla cream soda with Pompompurin's face dusted on.


For desert we have a chococat cookie served with vanilla ice cream.

Tuxedo Sam is this cute penguin we all know and love but did you know he recently had a cafe come out about him. Tuxedo Sam does love to eat and look good too so we all should of known this was going to happen. The cafe started on July 14th and only being held for a limited time, located in Tokyo. I wish I lived in Tokyo so I can see this stuff all for myself but one day I will go visit. It is hosted by The Guest Cafe, of course they doing a lot of collaborations with Sanrio. Randa x My Melody

Randa and My Melody did a collaboration together on October 10, 2015. This collection came out for My Melody's 40th anniversary. They have five different designs of shoes and styles. They have ballerina shoes, Flower Bijoux pumps, House Pumps and more. These shoes price around 11,900 yen to 19,900 yen. These shoes were all limited edition, you can find them today online from a re-seller of course but the price is probably more then it was then. Even though I would love a pair of the ballerina shoes or moccasins. These ballerina shoes have pom poms that are detachable, you can hook them on to the front of back. price: 11,900 yen  These moccasins come in a My Sweet Piano style as well.
