Hina Matsuri, Hello Kitty cakes

So for the Japanese holiday Hina Matsuri they asked a Japanese pastry company "Mon Cher" to make them a Hello Kitty cake. Hina Matsuri is a Japanese holiday in which dolls in traditional Heian period dress are displayed. It is also a time when Japanese families pray for the health and happiness of their daughters. Hina Matsuri is celebrated on March 3, although the doll displays usually begin going up at the end of February.


 In celebration of this holiday they have a special line of Hello Kitty cakes available through March 1st-3rd. One of the cake features Hello Kitty and My Meldoy.

Tuxedo Sam is this cute penguin we all know and love but did you know he recently had a cafe come out about him. Tuxedo Sam does love to eat and look good too so we all should of known this was going to happen. The cafe started on July 14th and only being held for a limited time, located in Tokyo. I wish I lived in Tokyo so I can see this stuff all for myself but one day I will go visit. It is hosted by The Guest Cafe, of course they doing a lot of collaborations with Sanrio. There will be cute food with a cute character and they will also have a shop where you can get cute limited edition items. There are seven different items on the menu including dessert.  The Menu Tuxedo Sam Curry White curry with Tuxedo Sam made of rice in the middle and a salad on the side. Friend Of The Month

It's the start of the new month of September and we got a new friend of the month to celebrate. This month is Pochacco's month and Sanrio has some cute ways to celebrate. They have cute items on  Sanrio  for you to purchase and you can get a cute Pochacco pin to go with it. They also have on the blog a recipe to make banana ice cream so that can be fun to check out. You can also have your Instagram photo shown on their website if you hashtag #PochaccoFOTM and show some of your collection up there. Last but not least they have a  Flash Game  where you can play as Pochacco and try to catch some yummy treats. So go check out the action on Sanrio and celebrate Pochacco this month.

Wish Me Mell x Angelic Pretty

Angelic Pretty is a Japanese fashion company that specializes in Lolita fashion. Sanrio and Angelic Pretty teamed up and came out with a Wish Me Mell fashion line in 2014. They came out with dresses, hoodie, jewelry and a Wish Me Mell plush. The Wish Me Mell plush has the same dress as one they are selling so now you can be twins with Mell. This is a very rare set that is hard to find now or very expensive. These dresses come out with a bonnet and you can remove some of the items on the dress likes bows and more. It sold out very quickly and of course you could only buy it in Japan but im sure now you can find it online somewhere.
