Image
The first Hello Kitty Cafe in the continental U.S. is in the works with plans for it to to open by summer 2015 in Orange County. The house of the Hello Kitty cafe is in Honolulu. They announced their opening at the Hello Kitty Convention with their Hello Kitty food truck. Sadly I didn't eat there, the line was huge, of course. They will be serving food that you can get from a cafe and Hello Kitty's face will be all over it. They will have donuts, macaroons, coffee and more. In the meantime the food truck is available for private events and will be going to different states and country's. They don't have have a Facebook yet but they have a Instagram, you can find the link at the bottom. http://instagram.com/hellokittycafe/

My experience at Hello Kitty Con

Image
When I first heard of the Hello Kitty convention, I knew it was something I couldn't miss out on. The first day landed on my Birthday, October 30th, I turned 22. I thought it was fate that it was on my special day to make it ever better. I had a great experience going and seeing everything they had. remembering everything from when I was a kid and buying what I could get. The place was packed and there was so much to see and do, for any Hello Kitty fanatic, it was pretty overwhelming but not worth missing. Dreams came true, as you saw everything you could get and all the limited products. These fashion designs at the convention were amazing and truly kawaii. I would love to wear and own these myself and it was really cool seeing them and there originality.  Dylan's Candy Bar shop was too cute and I wish I could have bought everything there. I am a fanatic when it comes to Hello Kitty and honestly only ate one an

Hello Kitty Con was to celebrate her 40th anniversary it was the first to ever happen. The convention was held in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. Little Tokyo was overcome with    25,000 fans,  David Marchi, senior director of brand management and marketing at Sanrio said they been wanting to do this for awhile and Hello Kittys 40th anniversary gave them this opportunity.  t he Hello Kitty Convention took several years to plan and execute. People came from all over to reminiscing their childhood of Hello Kitty. The Hello Kitty Convention was 2 stores and the lines were around 2-4 hours long, there was a lot to see and do. The supermarket section was the most crowd part, from shops like  Sephora, Beats by Dre, Dylan’s Candy Bar, Loungefly, Spam, and more shops selling their Hello Kitty wares. They had a few activitys for the kids too like art sections, where they teach you to draw and make scrapbooks.    You could buy 3D printed figurines, custom made T-shirts, scrapbook kits, golf
